Eevert’s heading time does not differ significantly from other meadow fescue varieties.
Eevert has a high yield potential. Its dry matter yield has been very competitive across different stand ages and cultivation zones in Finnish official variety trials. Especially in zones I and II, Eevert has produced relatively higher yields than other meadow fescues. Its regrowth capacity has been better than the reference variety Kasper, especially in the third cut.
Eevert is a top‑quality variety. Its D‑value has been high in all harvests in official trials.
Eevert is well suited to grass mixtures for both silage and pasture.
Eevert’s winter hardiness is very good. Its winter damage percentage has been around four in official trials.
