Tuure produces high yields and responds strongly to increased fertilization. Yield levels have been particularly high in the first cut, but the regrowth is also good. Tuure produces reliably regardless of the growing site or stand age. Tuure’s quality is top tier, both in digestibility and protein content.
Tuure’s winter hardiness is among the best of all varieties. It is sufficient for productive cultivation all the way to Lapland.
Recommended for zones I–IV in Finland.
