In terms of disease resistance, the variety does not differ from other pea varieties on the market.
Loviisa is recommended for zones I–III in Finland. It is particularly well suited to clay soils but also produces good yields on coarser soil types. In Boreal’s own multiyear trials, Loviisa has performed particularly well in Ostrobothnia area.
